About Grace
Bonjour ! I hold an M.A. in French from UC San Diego and have been tutoring for five years. During a study-abroad stint in Dijon, I taught English while deepening my knowledge of Burgundy’s cultural heritage. I’m DELF B2 certified and offer flexible scheduling—early mornings and weekends included. I conduct every session entirely in French, using authentic materials—news clips, podcasts, and contemporary short stories—to immerse you in real-world language. We’ll practice everyday conversations (ordering at a café, discussing current events) while analyzing grammar and expanding vocabulary in context. For DELF/DALF prep, I provide mock exams, targeted feedback, and focused pronunciation workshops. By the end of each lesson, you’ll not only speak more confidently, but also understand the cultural nuances that make French come alive.
