About Kimberly
I have been a professional writer for over 30 years. At 27, I published my literary short story collection Mad Anatomy to critical acclaim and went on to become editor of the online political magazine Newtopia. I wrote a longstanding column in the French punk rock magazine 3 A.M. called Diary of a Californicator and currently write Naked in Front of Strangers on Substack. My short stories, essays, creative nonfiction, and articles have appeared in myriad literary and lifestyle magazines ranging from Canada's Puritan to Wine Enthusiast. My arts and food writing has appeared internationally in vehicles such as the Los Angeles Times and I enjoyed being a long time food columnist in the Coachella Valley for The Desert Sun and Desert Entertainer newspapers. As a freelancer, I have also enjoyed decades writing for museums, art galleries, artists, architects, and arts organizations on an international level.
