About Sehar

My love for teaching comes from watching children grow into their best selves.
I create calm, positive spaces where developing readers can build phonics skills without fear, where multilingual learners can strengthen their Hindi and Urdu with confidence, and where every child feels they belong—especially those new to Dubai.
I believe in celebrating small wins, because each one builds the foundation for bigger ones. Whether I'm in a classroom or leading an after-school club, my purpose is simple: to help children believe in themselves, one step at a time.

Served as a primary teacher within the daytime programme, delivering
foundational numeracy and literacy lessons tailored to children of
various ages. Focused on creating and implementing daily lesson plans
that carefully complemented the regular classroom.
Combined practical childcare practices with intensive phonics support
to create a secure, positive learning space tailored to the needs of
developing readers. Liaised with local Dubai schools to deliver this
targeted assistance, ensuring that children arriving from different
countries received the educational scaffolding needed to settle
comfortably into mainstream education.
Provided structured, individualised guidance in spoken and written
Hindi/ spoken Urdu(Primary) to help Dubai-based students strengthen
their language development and academic confidence. Extended this
passion for language learning by leading an after-school programme
at Safa British School, Dubai, focused on making spoken Hindi and
Urdu accessible and enjoyable for children.
Taught crochet to diverse age groups, helping individuals discover and
develop their personal crafting skills. Fostered a positive atmosphere
that helped students build the confidence to create independently,
ultimately inspiring a few dedicated learners to turn their passion into
small, personal business projects.
