About Jay
My name is Jay and I'm currently studying A level Maths along with Physics and IT. My main focus is around Maths as it is a subject that I thoroughly enjoy with every question posing a new problem however I can also understand why others can find it incredibly difficult. I believe in a method of teaching that allows you to show your students multiple ways to do calculations in order to find what works best for them while being patient and approachable at all times.

What I offer:
-Flexible hours
-Lessons built around what the student and parents think are best
-Happy to answer any questions to my students even out of lesson time if they struggling with any work that is due

I base my lessons around what the student wants to focus on and may sometimes ask students to go away and complete some questions in between the first few lessons so that I can really understand what the student is struggling with so that we can try to improve their knowledge as soon as possible to get them exam ready.
I already have some tutoring experience teaching younger family members who were struggling with Maths who found my style of teaching really helpful and they have gone onto understand Maths a lot more in secondary school. I have now decided to take my experience into primary school tuition to help students who are finding maths difficult before their SATS.
