About Jing

I was born in China and migrated to Sydney 20 years ago. 10 years ago, when my children were older, my friend introduced me to teach Mandarin in a primary school for their extra-curriculum. I loved it and continued until now.

About the lesson

As a native Mandarin speaker and Chinese tutor, I have 10 years experience teaching Chinese with kids, primary to high school students, university students and working adults. Some of my students follow me during all their school time from primary schools to HSC exams. Eventually, they have the ability to keep learning the language by themselves. I always customize my classes to suit my students' needs. Therefore, both me and my students enjoyed our classes. I am familiar with NSW Chinese curriculum and IB curriculum. I am so proud that my students have achieved very good results in their HSC exams. I look forward to helping people who want to learn Chinese language and culture with all my passion, my teaching skills and experience. No matter if you are a beginner or want to bring your Chinese to the next level.

Hi there. My 2 children have been students of Jing Laoshi for just over 10 years. Through Jing's patience and creativity, they have turned out to be strong, enthusiastic students in Mandarin. They are able to read, write and speak Mandarin, despite coming from a non-Mandarin speaking home. I highly recommend Jing as a Mandarin teacher!
