About Tony
I have over 3000 hours of one-on-one experience tutoring high school math and science. I have seen countless students succeed in raising their grades in classes far beyond their goals or expectations. I take the learning process very seriously and will put the entirety of my effort into assisting any student in the accomplishment and transcendence of their educational goals.

Regardless of whether you need homework help or are seeking personalized lesson plans, I structure my lessons around the tried-and-true method known as I Do/We Do/You Do. Here are the five basic parts of each lesson I conduct:
(1). Say hello and review the agenda for the class.
(2). Learn the material (I Do). I explain the material, take any questions, and then show a step-by-step solution for 1-3 practice problem(s).
(3). Practice together (We Do). I give you a similar problem that you can try on your own. I will allow you the space to do as much as you can on your own but I will always jump in and help if you find yourself stuck.
(4). Independent practice (You Do). I give you more problems for you to complete on your own. In this step, I will not offer any help during the space of the problem. You will get to experience what it will be like to complete these problems when you are alone. We'll review any questions you have about each problem after you have given it your best attempt.
(5). Wrap-up the lesson and assign any homework.
Over the course of my career, I have developed a keen sense for what a student may be struggling with. I can quickly diagnose key areas of confusion, address these areas in class, and assign specific problem sets to quickly increase competence.
