About Marcus
I create supportive and engaging lessons that help students feel confident using English in real situations. My teaching style is interactive and student-centered, focusing on clear explanations, guided practice, and plenty of opportunities for communication. I adapt my methods to suit each learner’s level, goals, and interests, making sure lessons are both effective and enjoyable. A typical lesson lasts 45–60 minutes, with a balance of new material, practice, and review. For young learners, I use games, songs, and visuals to keep them motivated, while with adults I focus on practical conversation, pronunciation, and structured skill development. I hold a TESOL certificate and have experience teaching English as well as other school subjects such as Math, Science, and Language Arts in English. This background has given me the ability to teach both beginners and advanced learners with patience and clarity. My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults. Whether you are just starting out, preparing for exams, or improving your communication for work or travel, I provide professional guidance to help you achieve your goals with confidence.

I believe in creating engaging, student-centered lessons that focus on communication, confidence, and practical language use. My methodology combines interactive activities, real-life contexts, and step-by-step skill development in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I use a variety of techniques such as role-plays, games, visual aids, and guided practice to make learning enjoyable and effective. I also adapt my teaching style depending on the learner’s goals, whether it is academic, conversational, or professional English.
Lesson Length
A typical lesson lasts between 45–60 minutes. This allows enough time to introduce new material, practice it interactively, and review key points without overwhelming students. For younger learners, I use shorter, more dynamic activities to keep their attention, while for adults I often include extended practice and discussion.
Qualifications and Experience
I hold a TESOL certificate and have experience teaching English to children and young learners in both classroom and tutoring settings. I have also taught core subjects like Math, Science, and Language Arts in English, which has given me a strong understanding of how to integrate language with content learning.
Target Students
My lessons are designed for a wide range of learners, from preschool and primary school students to adults who want to improve their English for study, travel, or work. I particularly enjoy helping beginners build a solid foundation, but I also work with intermediate and advanced learners who want to refine their skills.
