About Chris
Welcome! I'm Christos, a professionally trained actor, director, and certified LAMDA teacher with over two decades of experience in theater, media, and education. My journey began with a First Class Honors degree in Theater and Media Drama from the University of South Wales, followed by a Master's degree in Ancient Greek Performance from Royal Holloway, University of London. My professional acting career has taken me to prestigious venues including the Edinburgh Festival, where I performed in internationally acclaimed productions, and stages across the UK and Greece. As a working actor and director, I understand the real challenges performers face and the skills needed to succeed in today's competitive industry. What truly sets me apart is my comprehensive training in teaching methodology. I'm a certified LAMDA examinations teacher through Lighthouse Teacher Training, with CPD accreditation across multiple disciplines including Acting, Speaking Verse & Prose, and Musical Theatre. This specialized qualification ensures I deliver structured, progressive lessons that meet international standards. My media background with BBC, CNN, and major international networks has honed my expertise in accent coaching and vocal training - skills I now share with actors seeking authentic character voices and clear speech patterns. Whether you're a young student preparing for LAMDA exams, an adult exploring acting for the first time, or a professional actor refining specific skills, I provide personalized, supportive instruction that builds confidence and delivers measurable results. My online teaching approach maintains the same high standards as in-person instruction, using professional techniques adapted for digital learning. I'm committed to creating a safe, encouraging environment where every student can discover their unique voice and develop their full potential as a performer.
