About Corey

“Hi, I’m Corey Schmitt, a professional actor and improviser with experience in TV, film, and theater. I’ve trained at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Vancouver Film School, and Grant MacEwan University, and I’ve worked on productions like Supernatural, The Girl in the Photographs, and The Great Salish Heist. My coaching focuses on audition prep, scene work, character development, and improv, helping actors feel confident and natural in front of the camera or on stage. Whether you’re preparing for a big audition or just want to sharpen your skills, I tailor lessons to your needs and experience level. Let’s work together to bring your best performance forward!

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether you’re preparing for an audition, developing a character, or improving your on-camera presence. I focus on practical techniques that help you feel confident and natural in your performances. Sessions can cover script analysis, scene work, cold reading, improv, and industry insights to help you stand out in auditions. Whether you’re a beginner looking to build a foundation or a working actor refining your craft, I’ll help you bring authenticity and depth to your performances
