I use a communicative approach that prioritizes conversation. I believe the best way to learn a language is by actually speaking it, so my lessons focus heavily on listening and speaking practice. I incorporate role-playing, discussions about current events, and interactive activities to make learning dynamic. I also make sure to cover cultural aspects, like slang, expressions, and regional variations, to give students a deeper understanding of the language. I also use a mix of visual aids, audio resources, and real-life materials (like news articles or podcasts) to help students understand language in different contexts. Grammar and vocabulary are naturally introduced during conversations, ensuring that students learn language structures in context, not just as isolated rules. What makes my approach unique is my ability to tailor lessons to each student’s needs and goals. I have a strong background in Advertising and Marketing, which allows me to relate well to professionals who are learning Spanish for work purposes. As a native Spanish speaker from Colombia, I can offer insights into both the language and culture that students won’t find in traditional textbooks. Additionally, living in Canada has given me the experience of navigating two cultures, which helps me relate to the challenges that students face when learning a new language. I am patient, flexible, and committed to helping students feel comfortable and confident. My lessons are ideal for beginners to advanced learners, especially those interested in improving their conversational skills. Whether you are a student, a professional, or someone planning to travel to a Spanish-speaking country, my lessons are designed to meet your specific needs. I also specialize in helping people who want to learn Spanish for business or expand their cultural knowledge.
