In my experience tutoring, I have realized the majority of people struggle with subjects like science and math due to a lack of proper instruction. A lot of teachers, especially at the college level, fail to present the material in a way that is understandable for first time learners.
My goal is to make things as simple to understand as possible without losing any of the content. There is almost always an easier way!
I have extensive experience with online tutoring, so it is almost like we are sitting in the same room together. I have a tablet that lets me write/draw on the screen similar to what they do in Khan Academy videos. Some of the students I worked with in person before the pandemic actually prefer the online experience now.

Alec tutored me in organic chemistry and I never thought that I would get the highest grade in the class. He gave me the confidence in my abilities to fully understand one of the most daunting subjects I have ever faced. As a student that is studying for a graduate school program entrance exam, everything he taught me I remember which is making the process easier and allows me to stress less about relearning concepts. Alec was always there to answer any questions I had, which were many, and if I had to ask the same question again he would go over and beyond in making sure that I understood the material to the best of his capabilities. Alec is key to success!

First 1-3 hour session is free. I want you to feel confident about what you are paying for.
After that, $25/hour is usually what I ask. But I am very reasonable and am open to discussing different rates.
