About Devyani

I am a calligraphy artist and teacher with over 5 years of experience. Along with teaching, I regularly work on commissioned projects for clients, create personalized gifts, and conduct workshops for different groups. My focus is on helping students understand the basics properly and enjoy the learning process. Whether you are learning as a hobby, for personal growth, or to develop a professional skill, I provide clear guidance, honest feedback, and a supportive learning environment.

About the lesson

I teach students aged **15 and above**.
My classes are suitable for both beginners and those who already have some experience in calligraphy.
I focus on building a strong foundation through guided practice and regular feedback.
Each class usually includes demonstrations, practice exercises, correction of mistakes, and time for questions.
Lessons are adjusted according to the student's pace and goals.
I teach Copperplate, Brush Pen, Italic, Gothic, and Devanagari calligraphy from basic to advanced levels.

I took an engraving course with Devyani and loved it. I was a bit scared of using the tools at first, but her teaching style is very safe and calm. We made a beautiful glass engraving piece together in class.

I joined Devyani’s Copperplate calligraphy group class and it was amazing! I was worried a group class would feel rushed, but she gave everyone personal attention. She makes the hard script steps feel so simple. Learning together with others was really fun. Highly recommend her!
