About Louis
I'm a working director who trained as an actor in Australia before moving to London 7 years ago. I have worked with some of the most renowned acting teachers and directors in the world (including Margie Haber, Larry Moss and Howard Fine) to help mould my practices and make acting classes the most enjoyable and fulfilling for each of my students. I also pride myself on being an "actor's director". My goal is to help each individual achieve new heights in their acting (normally heights they didn't initially think were possible!) and provide the tools and techniques to approach roles and auditions and shape your own style.

Hi everyone! I'm Louis and I provide one-on-one acting coaching in-person in South-West London or online. I have worked with individuals from all walks of life and differing skill levels (beginners to working professionals) to prepare them for auditions, roles in feature films and plays as well as drama school auditions. I use my experiences as a working director to aid my coaching and many of my methods have been passed down by some of the best directors/coaches in the business including Margie Haber, Larry Moss, Howard Fine and Benjamin Matthews. I don't subscribe to a single "method" though I am heavily influenced by the work of Stella Adler, Uta Hagen and Sanford Meisner. My belief is that the character is at the centre of all our work, and the most artistically fulfilling and enjoyable work stems from the ability to internalise and then physicalise each role to create a fully-realised three-dimensional human being (I'll pop some more info about it down below). I'm always happy to talk more about my methods and to hear more about you as well! I look forward to hearing from you.
