About Dani
I bring both experience and professionalism to my tutoring. I graduated from Commack High School with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, one of the most rigorous and respected academic programs available. Throughout high school, I completed advanced coursework in IB English, Spanish, History, Math, and Science, which required strong analytical thinking, time management, and academic discipline. I’m currently an undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, continuing my academic work in a challenging university environment. Beyond the classroom, I’ve been involved in a variety of academic and leadership-focused clubs over the years, including English-related organizations, which strengthened my communication skills and ability to explain complex ideas clearly. As a tutor, I’m organized, prepared, and reliable — but I also understand how stressful school can feel. I aim to create a supportive, structured, and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and confident in their abilities.

I’ve worked with a lot of tutors throughout high school, and honestly, most of them never really clicked for me. They knew the material, but learning felt boring, stressful, or robotic — which made it harder to actually understand anything. That experience showed me what doesn’t work, and it’s exactly why I tutor the way I do.
When I tutor, I focus on making things make sense in a way that’s actually fun and low-pressure. I break concepts down, explain them in different ways until they click, and meet people where they’re at instead of making them feel behind. My goal isn’t just better grades — it’s confidence, understanding, and making school feel way less overwhelming.
