As an intermediate guitar student I felt I was stuck on some elements of theory and technique. I would meet with Drew once a month to work through some of my sticking points. I appreciated his flexibility which allowed me time to work on my own between lessons. He also tailored all the lessons and prepared written materials custom made for me. To top it off, he's a nice person and a great guitar player!

Drew and I met when we were both middle school teachers. He is certainly a talented and experienced teacher, and he has always impressed me as a kind, patient, creative, and interesting person.
Drew definitely has a passion for music, and he has taught me a lot about music history because he is well read and curious.

Drew once convinced me to go on a road trip which included a visit to Ringing Rocks Park in Pennsylvania where you get to go onto a boulder field and hit the rocks with hammers to produce the sounds of bells with different pitches. It was amazing, and I’m glad Drew motivated the adventure.
