About Abhishek
I am a graphic designer and illustrator with more than 3 years of work experience in the industry. My education background is comprised of a 4 years Bachelors degree from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata in Multimedia and Animation. Along with that I have also completed a Masters in Film Studies from Jadavpur University this year. Sketching and Visual Design is my metire and I take an immense amount of interest in informing and exchanging knowledge with the coming generation of aspiring artists in the visual field.

I believe in teaching methods that are interactive and are not adhering to the old-school teacher-student hierarchy. Making drawing interesting (as it should be) is my motive. I achieve this by trying to generate curiosity and observation skills in the student and teaching them ways to look at the world from a visual arts perspective.
While the classes are majorly practical-oriented, I also include a little bit of art history and other relevant theories so that the student is initiated with a knowledge of what has come before in the field of drawing so that their practice is motivated with a purpose.
In the classes I teach them skills not only through traditional media but also through the now all-encompassing digital medium giving them an all-rounded knowledge of drawing.
