About Suha
**Why Me?**
I've spent years doing the work I'll be teaching, not just studying it. I hold a dual Master's in Journalism and International Relations from NYU, where I also served as Editor-in-Chief of a student journal, working one-on-one with writers to sharpen their arguments and prepare their work for publication. My writing has appeared in TIME, The Guardian, and Foreign Policy, and I currently help produce a national news program at CNN, so I know what strong, clear writing actually looks like under a deadline, not just in theory.
I've also spent over three years coaching competitive speech and debate, including a two-time national champion, which means I'm just as comfortable helping a student build a five-paragraph essay as I am helping them find their voice at the podium. I don't believe in generic feedback. I meet each student where they are, figure out what's actually holding their writing or speaking back, and build a plan around it, so progress feels concrete, not vague. My goal isn't just a better grade or score. It's a student who leaves our sessions a genuinely stronger writer and speaker, with the confidence to prove it.

I'm a journalist and editor with an NYU Master's in Journalism, three-plus years coaching nationally competitive speech and debate students, and a track record editing others' writing for publication.
