About Helena
I gave private lessons of accordion, piano and music theory in Spain and France since 2011, and now in the Netherlands, always with a very good result. The students are very motivated for the courses and my goal with them is that they understand music better, that they progress as perfomers and that they have tools to know how to deal with the different musical works.
I also did a job shadowing in Strasbourg (2016): Observation of accordion classes and giving lessons to the students, with the main teacher as assistant.

I have a personal motivation to work with students in the field of music. As a very hard working and active person, I want to show how music works and how essential it is in life, by listening, practicing with the instruments and learning music theory.
I give accordion lessons from beginners to bachelor students. I give piano and music theory lessons for beginners.
Spanish and Galician are my mother tongue, I can speak fluent French and English and I start studying a bit of Dutch.

Perfect! I recommend Helena as an accordion teacher to everyone interested in learning accordion. I really learn a lot from her and I really like her professionalism and her patience and encouragement, and it’s always a pleasure to have accordion lessons with her!

De accordeonlessen van Helena zijn altijd erg leerzaam. Voor iedereen wordt de manier van spelen op maat gemaakt en ze kijkt goed naar wat de beste manier is om te verbeteren. Ze legt nieuwe technieken duidelijk en overzichtelijk uit. Ook zorgt ze ervoor dat elk nieuwe stuk en elke nieuwe oefening uitdagend is maar ook leuk om te spelen. Ik raad Helena's lessen zeker aan!
