About Pagatpat
Learn, Sing, and Grow with Confidence
Learning to sing is not only about having a beautiful voice—it is about developing confidence, musical understanding, discipline, and the courage to express yourself. As a dedicated music educator and singing teacher, I am committed to creating a positive, respectful, and supportive learning environment where every student can grow at their own pace.
With my background in music education and teaching, I understand that every learner has different strengths, experiences, and goals. Whether you are a beginner taking your first steps in singing or an experienced student looking to improve your vocal technique and performance, I will provide clear guidance, practical techniques, constructive feedback, and encouragement throughout your learning journey.
I take professionalism seriously. My lessons are carefully prepared, goal-oriented, and tailored to the individual needs of each student. I believe that effective teaching requires patience, preparation, respect, consistency, and genuine care for the learner.
You do not need to be a perfect singer to begin. You simply need the willingness to learn.
My role is to help you discover your potential, strengthen your skills, overcome insecurities, and become a more confident and expressive singer.
Your voice is unique. Your musical journey is your own. Let’s develop it together.

My Teaching Approach
I believe that every student has a unique voice, and my goal is to help each learner discover, develop, and confidently use that voice. As a music educator and singing teacher, I combine practical vocal training, music education, performance skills, and confidence-building to create lessons that are both enjoyable and meaningful.
My teaching approach is student-centered and personalized. I adjust my lessons according to the learner’s age, experience, vocal ability, musical interests, and individual goals. Whether you are a complete beginner who wants to learn how to sing, a student preparing for a performance, or an aspiring vocalist who wants to improve technique, I provide guidance at a pace that is comfortable and challenging.
My Teaching Methods and Techniques
My lessons may include:
Breathing and breath-support exercises to develop better vocal control
Vocal warm-ups and exercises for flexibility, pitch, tone, and range
Pitch and ear-training activities to improve accuracy and musical awareness
Proper vocal technique including posture, resonance, articulation, and voice control
Song interpretation to help students understand emotion, phrasing, dynamics, and expression
Performance techniques to develop stage presence and confidence
Basic music theory and musicianship to help students understand the music they are performing
Guided practice and constructive feedback to help students recognize their strengths and areas for improvement
I focus not only on producing a good sound, but also on teaching students why and how the voice works so they can become more independent and confident learners.
What a Typical Lesson Looks Like
A typical lesson is structured but flexible, depending on the student's needs.
1. Check-in and Vocal Preparation
We begin by checking how the student's voice feels and preparing the body and breathing for singing.
2. Warm-up and Vocal Exercises
We work on breathing, pitch, resonance, vocal flexibility, range, and vocal control through age- and level-appropriate exercises.
3. Technique Development
We focus on a specific skill that the student needs to improve, such as breath support, pitch accuracy, diction, vocal expression, or vocal confidence.
4. Song Application
The student applies the techniques learned to a selected song. We work on phrasing, dynamics, interpretation, pronunciation, and emotional expression.
5. Performance and Feedback
The student performs a portion or the entire song, followed by constructive feedback and specific suggestions for improvement.
6. Practice Goals
We end the lesson with simple exercises or practice goals that the student can continue working on independently.
What Sets Me Apart
What makes my lessons different is that I approach singing as both an art and an educational process. I don't simply teach students to imitate a singer or memorize a song. I help them understand their own voice, develop healthy and effective singing habits, and become more expressive musicians.
As an educator, I value patience, encouragement, discipline, and continuous improvement. I create a supportive learning environment where students can make mistakes, experiment, ask questions, and gradually build confidence.
My goal is not just to help you sing a song better. My goal is to help you become a better and more confident singer.
Who My Lessons Are For
My lessons are suitable for:
Complete beginners who want to learn how to sing
Children and young learners developing their musical abilities
Students who want to improve their singing for school performances and activities
Choir members who want to strengthen vocal technique and musicality
Intermediate singers who want to improve their vocal control and expression
Aspiring performers preparing for competitions, recitals, auditions, or special events
Music students who want to strengthen their practical singing and musicianship skills
Anyone who simply loves singing and wants to become more confident and expressive
Whether you are singing for personal enjoyment, academic development, church or community activities, competitions, or future performance, I will help you develop your skills one step at a time.
Let's develop your voice, strengthen your musical skills, and turn your passion for singing into confident and expressive performance.
