About Rishab
I’m a Software Engineer with 6 years of professional experience in the software industry, primarily working on backend systems, distributed systems, and modern software architecture.
My journey into software engineering taught me that learning programming is not just about writing code, it’s about developing the ability to think logically, break down complex problems, and understand how different pieces of a system work together.
I want to share my knowledge because I remember what it feels like to learn technical concepts for the first time. Many concepts can seem unnecessarily complicated when they are explained only through theory. I want to make them easier to understand by explaining the fundamentals, using practical examples, and showing how these concepts are actually applied in the real world.
As a teacher, my goal isn't simply to help students complete a course or solve a particular problem. I want to help them develop a strong foundation, become confident problem-solvers, and eventually reach a point where they can learn and build things independently.

My Approach as a Teacher
My teaching approach focuses on making technical concepts simple, practical, and easy to understand. As a software engineer with 6 years of industry experience, I try to connect fundamental computer science concepts with real-world software development so that students understand not only *what* something is, but also *why* it matters and *where* it is used.
Teaching Techniques and Methods
I use a combination of conceptual explanations, practical examples, coding exercises, and problem-solving. I prefer to introduce a concept from first principles, gradually build complexity, and then reinforce it through hands-on examples. I also encourage students to ask questions and think through problems themselves rather than simply memorizing solutions.
Whenever possible, I use real-world engineering scenarios to explain concepts such as data structures, algorithms, databases, operating systems, backend development, and system design.
Typical Class Structure
A typical class begins with a brief review of previous concepts, followed by an introduction to the new topic and an explanation of its underlying fundamentals. I then demonstrate the concept with practical examples or code and give the student opportunities to solve related problems themselves. The class usually ends with a recap, discussion of questions, and suggestions for practice.
I adapt the pace and depth of each session based on the student's current understanding and learning goals.
What Makes My Teaching Different
My biggest strength is combining academic fundamentals with practical industry experience. I believe students learn better when they understand how concepts are actually used to build software. I focus on developing problem-solving and logical thinking skills rather than teaching students to simply follow predefined steps.
I also aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions freely, make mistakes, and learn through experimentation.
