Slawa completed his PhD at Cass Business School under my supervision. I also supervised his MSc dissertation. He is one of very few students that I have asked to work with me as I was so impressed with his attitude to learning.

Slawa is a man with many skills and interests. He knows about economics, finance, trading, Russia, building high quality hifi systems and fine dining. I would listen to him carefully on any of these subjects. He asks questions that make you think, whether you think you know about a topic or not.

Slaw was both my MSc and PhD student. He holds a PhD in Finance and is capable of teaching any area of Finance and Econometrics/Statistics. He has taught several Econometrics classes at an MSc level during his PhD studies and obtained a very positive feedback from students.
