About Shivanand
As a Dad of two boys, one doing Medicine and other GCSE, I am always interested in testing the children their mental mathematics and help them answer with speed and accuracy. Creating interest in children by asking them easy but interesting questions about nature, science, relating them together and improving their vocabulary and overall knowledge by doing so. 'Learn as you play' is what I encourage. Eg: Asking children what is the fraction of every hour in a Clock-Pizza!! to teach them fractions. Teaching children where and how Trigonometry is used in practice (as an engineer myself where did I use..) instead of just teaching them the rules of trigonometry will make the lessons more interesting.
