About Prof Dr A Lamey
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Lamey is a Professor of General Surgery and an experienced surgeon with extensive academic, clinical, and teaching experience. Over the years, I have taught and trained medical students, interns, residents, and junior doctors in General Surgery, clinical examination, surgical decision-making, OSCE preparation, and medical licensing examinations.
My teaching style is clear, structured, practical, and focused on helping students understand the logic behind surgical diagnosis and management. I aim to simplify complex surgical topics, connect theory with real clinical practice, and help students become more confident in both examinations and patient-based clinical discussions.

My role is designed to make medicine clear, practical, and easy to understand. I focus on building strong clinical reasoning rather than simple memorization, using real surgical cases, clinical scenarios, images, examination findings, and step-by-step explanations.
Each lesson connects basic knowledge with real clinical practice, helping students understand how to approach a surgical patient, reach a diagnosis, select appropriate investigations, and plan management. I also focus on high-yield topics for university exams, OSCEs, viva examinations, and medical licensing exams.
My goal is to simplify difficult surgical and medical concepts, improve confidence, and help every student think like a clinician, not just study like an exam candidate.
