Programming Basics for Kids (Ages 9-15)

Embark on a rewarding journey into the world of programming with your child, with our course specially crafted for young learners. Here's why this course stands out:

Tailored for Beginners
No prior knowledge of programming is assumed, making it the perfect starting point for young minds. The examples are concise, considering the typing abilities of kids, ensuring a smooth and frustration-free learning experience.

Hands-On Learning with Real Tools
We introduce learners to the basic use of the Mac command line through the Terminal program, a tool used by real programmers daily. This approach not only simplifies the learning process but also offers a more rewarding experience compared to browser-based coding platforms. It's a step towards becoming a real programmer from day one!

Engaging and Short Examples in Ruby
The course utilizes Ruby, a simple yet powerful programming language known for its role in building renowned websites. While the focus is not on mastering Ruby, it serves as an excellent medium to grasp fundamental programming concepts that can later be applied to other languages like JavaScript or Python.
