About Majorie
Shipping production code for 13 years led me naturally toward teaching computer programming to others. Dealing with complex systems daily provides a solid foundation for teaching HTML, CSS, and data structures. I currently focus on Python, JavaScript, and SQL while supporting students interested in competitive programming or C++.
Object-oriented programming is a core focus in my classroom, alongside practical project-based learning. It remains genuinely satisfying to watch a student finally grasp a difficult algorithm after working through the logic together. My 13 years of experience helps me simplify these concepts for everyone.

Coding sessions often begin with a small honest confession about how bugs remain a part of software development. We spend time evaluating your current skill level during a free trial session to ensure we start at the right spot.
This allows me to adjust the pace for students who might be newer to computers. Technical practice requires patience and structure, which I provide throughout every project.
We navigate databases, syntax errors, and architectural choices in real time. Building functional software is a rewarding challenge for any developer. Working through these roadblocks is exactly where the most significant growth happens. I enjoy seeing projects move from raw ideas to functional applications in our shared workspace.
