Are you struggling to find your voice in an essay? Confused by symbolism, structure, or Shakespeare? I can help.
I'm David, an English and Literature tutor, with a strong academic background in the subject and real experience helping students at every level — from middle schoolers tackling their first book reports to college students wrestling with literary analysis and research papers. I've also worked professionally in fields where clear, compelling communication is everything, so I don't just teach English — I teach you how to think and write like it matters.
What I can help you with:
Essay writing, structure, and editing
Literary analysis, and close reading
Grammar, mechanics, and style
Reading comprehension and critical thinking
Test prep (SAT/ACT English sections, AP Lit/Lang)
College application essays
Who I work with: Middle school, high school, and college/adult learners
Format: 100% online — flexible scheduling to fit your life
Whether you're trying to go from a C to an A, prep for an exam, or finally feel confident putting words on a page, I'd love to work with you.
Additionally, if you need expert proofreading or editing for your written work (including citations), then I have the skills and experience to help you!
Let's get started — send me a message and we can set up a free intro chat!
