My education provided a strong foundation in both theoretical knowledge and practical application. Professional Expertise: Throughout my two decades of practice, I have worked with diverse populations facing a wide range of mental health concerns—from anxiety and depression to complex trauma and cognitive challenges. My specialization in working with immigrants has given me deep expertise in understanding the unique psychological impact of cultural adjustment, identity shifts, and the stress of building life in a new country. My Approach to Psychology & Neuropsychology
With over 20 years of experience as a psychologist and neuropsychologist, I specialize in working with immigrants navigating the complex challenges of adapting to new cultures, languages, and environments. My approach combines evidence-based therapeutic techniques with deep cultural sensitivity and understanding.
Teaching Method & Techniques:
I use an integrative approach that blends cognitive-behavioral therapy, neuropsychological assessment principles, and culturally-adapted interventions. My sessions are interactive and tailored to each individual's unique background, migration experience, and mental health needs. I believe in creating a safe, judgment-free space where clients feel truly heard and understood.
A Typical Session:
Each session begins with active listening to understand your current concerns and goals. I then guide you through practical strategies and coping mechanisms that address your specific challenges—whether it's managing anxiety related to cultural adjustment, processing trauma, or developing resilience in your new environment. Sessions include psychoeducation, skill-building exercises, and actionable tools you can apply immediately in daily life.
What Sets Me Apart:
My extensive experience working specifically with immigrant populations gives me unique insight into the psychological impact of migration, identity transitions, and cross-cultural stress. I understand that mental health challenges don't exist in a vacuum—they're deeply connected to your cultural identity, family dynamics, and the practical realities of building a new life abroad. I speak your language, both literally and figuratively.
Who These Sessions Are For:

Immigrants and expats experiencing anxiety, depression, or adjustment difficulties
Individuals seeking neuropsychological guidance and cognitive health support
Adults dealing with identity challenges, cultural stress, or homesickness
Anyone seeking culturally-sensitive psychological support in a new country
Professionals, students, and families navigating cross-cultural transitions

Together, we'll work toward your mental wellness while honoring your cultural heritage and personal journey.
