With 3 years of experience in teaching, a degree in law and psychology, and work experience as a copywriter and editor, I can assure you that I can help you master English AND have fun while doing it! I adopt a communicative language teaching method that emphasizes the student’s ability to communicate in real-life contexts, and students learn to make requests, accept offers, explain things, and express their feelings and preferences.
Since CLT focuses on teaching language through real-world assignments and problem-solving, it’s less concerned with grammar accuracy and instead focuses on fluency.
I teach students that are at an intermediate level (B1, B2, and C1) and who are seeking assistance with their Business English, examination preparation, conversational fluency, and writing skills.
I have taught adult students Business English, designed to help them succeed in the corporate environment (with a particular focus on email writing, speeches, interviews, and meetings).
I have also helped numerous students pass their IELTS, TOEIC, and TOEFL examinations.
Additionally, I have helped adult students perfect their conversational fluency and gain confidence, which has opened them to greater opportunities.
You can expect our lessons to involve conversation, a short assessment, homework revision tailored to your struggle areas, and a lot of "real world sources", like current news articles or videos related to your personal interests. Lastly, you can expect to have FUN and develop a love for the beautiful English language!
