About Heather
I am a psychology graduate who is currently working in a primary school as a learning support assistant across KS1 and KS2. I regularly take small classes of children and run interventions for phonics, english and mathematics. The children that I teach improve continually.
I achieved 2 A*s and a B in my A-Levels and an A in my Maths and English GCSE's.

My phonics lessons help children recognise different sounds and enable them to gain the ability to blend these sounds together to improve their overall reading. This is done through flashcards and fun activities in which the children can fully engage in.
Both my english and maths sessions involve an input, where the children are taught what they need to know, and the practical work so that they can put their knowledge into action. It is important to me that the children enjoy what they are learning.
