About Elinor
Hello, my name is Elinor. I consider myself to be a caring and supportive teacher, who takes into account the individual needs of a student to help them grow in confidence to achieve their best.
I have a Psychology degree and four years experience of teaching A-level Psychology in a large and successfully department, as well as teaching Level 3 CTEC Health and Social Care and leading a Level 2 CTEC Health and Social care course . I also have some experience of teaching English as a Foreign language to young learners and adults, both in the classroom and private tutoring.
I tend to take an active learning and collaborative approach to help the student engage with their learning, and to encourage them to be effective and independent learners.
