About Lauren

I have my B.S in Psychology with a concentration in Social Work. I currently work with middle schoolers as a mentor, advocate, and tutor. I have had the experience to provide self-care & career tips, as well as strong knowledge on psychology content & study tools to help you study for exams or assignments!

About the lesson

I base my tutoring on where you are at academically and emotionally for that given time. I understand all are in at different points in the learning curve and I understand some days are harder than others, so i try to support both of those aspects. I really encourage the person to direct me on where their needs are and then come back to match that in content and teaching.

If I am in need to travel more than 30 miles or 30 min, I may ask for a little more payment depending on the distance/location. If I am asked to edit a paper or do some tasks that requires time outside the lesson, I may ask for more payment, but that also depends on the demand of the task. I am pretty reasonable and flexible and more than likely will do what I can for free to see you succeed!
