About Alexandra
I have published five books, so far, a collection of poetry, three short story collections and a novel. Many of the students and clients that I have coached and edited have also been published, and excelled in their English and Creative Writing courses. I teach creative writing through the University of Toronto's School of Continuing Studies Creative Writing Program. Reading, writing and helping people attain their writing goals are my passions!

My passions are reading and writing. I've been working with students of all ages to enhance their essay writing skills, story telling and reading comprehension.
I believe that creative writing is a wonderful way to strengthen your handle on language. I teach writing from the inside out. It's important to get down your first thoughts, unedited, learn from those seeds to further develop your essay, articles, or short stories, then line edit and proofread.
As a published author and freelance editor, I have compassion for those of you who are trying to express yourselves the best way possible on the page. I work with your strengths to enhance the areas in need of more practice.
My lessons are primarily geared toward high school and university students. However, I have and can teach the craft to all ages.
