About Ciara
I’m originally from Ireland and have been living and teaching in Abu Dhabi for the past three years. I’m a friendly, patient, and supportive teacher who genuinely enjoys helping young people develop their skills and grow in confidence.
Teaching is something I’m passionate about because I love seeing students make progress and begin to believe in their own abilities. I aim to create a positive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace.
While I specialize in secondary education, I have tutoring experience with students from ages 8 to 18, so I’m comfortable adapting my teaching style to different ages, abilities, and learning needs.

I am an experienced, fully qualified English teacher with two university qualifications and extensive experience teaching in international schools following both the British and American curricula.
As a full-time English teacher, I understand that every student learns differently. I specialise in supporting ESL (English as a Second Language) learners and adapt my lessons to suit each student’s individual ability, learning style, and goals.
My lessons are engaging, supportive, and tailored to help students build confidence while developing their reading, writing, speaking, grammar, and comprehension skills.
