About Anna
I am a qualified (PGCE, BAHons, MSc) and experienced teacher of English and English as a Foreign Language. I have 15 years of experience teaching and tutoring students of a range of ages and levels, specialising in secondary English in the last three years. I prepare students for exams such as SATs, GCSE and public school entrance exams, but also offer general help at any level to both children and adults. I am friendly, approachable and like to motivate and encourage my students to take pride in their work and results.

I use communicative teaching method, which means that my lessons are not lectures. Instead, students are encouraged to give their opinions, ask questions and practise not only their reading and writing skills, but also fluent speaking and communicating clearly in a range of different situations.
