My name is Jiayi Liu, and I am a qualified teacher with a Master of Secondary Teaching from Griffith University, specialising in Chinese language education and Business Management. I have teaching experience in Australian secondary schools through placements. I have also taught Chinese to young children in a community language school, giving me experience working with students across different age groups.
My tutoring approach is student-centred, supportive and practical. I adjust each lesson according to the student's age, current level, learning goals and confidence. I use clear explanations, examples, repetition, questioning and interactive activities to help students understand and remember.
A typical lesson is around 60 minutes, although the length and lesson structure can be adjusted depending on the student's age and learning needs. My lessons are suitable for primary and secondary school students, beginners learning Chinese or Business for the first time.
