About Xiao

Hello! I'm a professional Chinese teacher from China | CTCSOL certified . From 2014 to 2023, I worked at the Confucius Institute of the University of Tamatave in Madagascar, focusing on teaching Chinese to primary and secondary school students, as well as undergraduate courses.

My time teaching across cultures has made me realize that language education is not just about transferring knowledge; it's also a bridge between hearts and cultures.
My classes are centered around "vibrancy" and "adaptability":
- I design interactive games, role-playing scenarios, and multimedia-integrated lessons tailored to different age groups (children, teenagers, adults) and learning goals (daily conversation, HSK exams, cultural interest classes);
- I focus on creating an engaging classroom atmosphere, using humor, cultural comparisons, and localized examples to spark students' interest in active learning;
- I always practice a "student-centered" approach, regularly adjusting the course pace through surveys and one-on-one communication to help students overcome language learning barriers.
**Honors and Achievements**
In 2023, I was honored to receive a letter of commendation from the Presidential Office of Madagascar, which recognizes my long-term commitment to local Chinese education and promoting cultural exchange between China and Madagascar.

With my ten years of international education experience, I excel at crafting personalized teaching strategies based on your needs. No matter your language background, I can help you improve your Chinese skills, ignite your passion for learning, and create an interactive learning environment.

About the lesson

I am well-versed in cross-cultural educational environments and can develop tailored teaching strategies for diverse linguistic backgrounds, age groups, and learning objectives.
With extensive experience in classroom management and curriculum design, I independently implement instructional plans and flexibly adapt to both online and offline teaching modes. Through personalized guidance and interactive learning approaches, I effectively enhance student engagement.
