About Richard
I qualified as a doctor from a reputable UK university and worked for 8 years in UK hospitals as a pediatrician. I then moved into charity work with NGOs in the Philippines, before a transition into education 11 years ago. I have taught for 6 years in classrooms, then for 5 years online. I have a TEFL certificate and have helped hundreds of students taking the IELTS, TOEFL and OET exams. I am dedicated to my students and will take the time to plan carefully crafted lessons to meet your needs.

My background in medicine makes me especially helpful for those having job interviews for healthcare positions.
Having previously worked as a children's doctor means that I am able to connect with children well and help them to want to learn. My 11 years of teaching experience mean that I have large amounts of resources to teach a wide variety of classes.
I teach any age from 7 years old to adult, including university students and professionals. I can teach any level of English from beginner to upper advanced.
