About Leonie
I love teaching. Since I was little, I was marking books and giving lessons to my teddy bears, which was my first step in becoming a teacher. After finishing school, I studied education at UJ, and what a delightful experience that was; working hands-on with children and being able to see their faces light up when they understood a concept. I then went on to teach formally in a public school, where I had been fortunate enough to teach in both the foundation and intermediate levels. My journey has led me to where I am today, and I hope to inspire you to have your own amazing educational journey.

My lessons are well-structured to ensure learning occurs throughout. I take pride in using multiple mediums of visual aids, making the lesson engaging. English is my native language, and I am proficient in Afrikaans. I can teach both subjects from beginners to intermediate. Having fun while learning is key to retaining information, so best believe that we will be having tons!
