About Mariam
I am a university graduate with an Undergraduate degree and Honours degree in English Studies. I am currently completing a Masters degree in English as well.
I am passionate about the subject and I enjoy interacting with people. This makes me a perfect fit to tutor English!
I have experience tutoring at university level, and I also have tutored high school English. I am TEFL qualified, and have experience tutoring English as a second or foreign language.
I am also qualified in copywriting and proofreading, so I am able to assist with research proposals for research papers and theses.
Depending on the level and content of my classes, I am comfortable using different kinds of materials and resources when teaching - I always aim to make my lessons as fun, interactive and effective as possible.

My lessons will be tailored to each individual student’s learning requirements and abilities. I will use resources like worksheets, PowerPoints, games and other materials to help facilitate learning in a way that works for my student.
My lessons will be based mainly online or in-person upon request. I am easy to talk to and enjoy having interactive discussions as part of learning.
I am able to tutor English Language, Comprehension, Grammar, Literature, Writing and Reading, and even Conversational English.
Each student will have unique goals for their learning journey, and I will do my best to help them achieve those goals.
