About Matthew

I have worked in a range of public and private schools for about 10 years, tutoring a wide variety of students from all different backgrounds across all stages from kindy to year 12. I like to focus on students abilities and prior knowledge to help them develop and build on their skills by discussing and practising real life applications of the subject as well as problem solving and "just for fun" stuff. I have found that any student can learn just about anything through engaging their interests and repetition, repetition, repetition!

About the lesson

I'm enthusiastic about seeing students achieve! I start by asking the student about their strengths, weaknesses and interests, then I will try to tailor my lessons accordingly. I like to use a variety of activities that may include textbook exercises or practical applications.
