About Hilary
I am a very enthusiastic linguist having fallen in love with learning languages through a trip to Paris with the school. I studied French and Italian at University and took up Spanish in my 20s. I spent time in Colombia, am married to a Colombian and my two children are brought up in a bilingual household. I have worked in the same school in Brighton and Hove for the last 13 years after teaching in South London schools for 10 years.

I have known Hilary for over 20 years, having worked in some of her classes and shared classes with her as well. She is very patient, understanding and caring with all children, regardless of their ability. She has a passion for languages and is extremely knowledgable. She is especially good at boosting students’ confidence and never gives up on a child.
