About Madeleine

At age 12 I moved to rural Italy knowing only 20 words of Italian, and within 3 months was able to converse with those around me. I then went on to study Spanish and since then I have wanted to share my love of languages with as many people as possible! It is because of this that I became a teacher and tutoring allows me to pursue this passion tailoring it to the learners' strengths and interests. I teach through a series of short activities, games and speaking exercises. I firmly believe that you learn best when you're having fun!

About the lesson

I offer fun and engaging lessons with a relaxed approach, I build on confidence particularly with speaking! 45min / 1hr lessons 10+ years as language tutor to adults / 7+ years as a qualified secondary language teacher / 4+ years experience with primary age children / DBS Certified All levels and ages welcome!
