About Luis
Hi, I’m Luis, a qualified secondary Maths teacher with experience teaching students across KS3, GCSE and A-Level. I also have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and achieved an A* in A-Level Mathematics.
I really enjoy helping students become more confident in Maths and showing them that difficult topics can become much more manageable with the right explanation and practice. Having worked with students of different ages and abilities, I understand that everyone learns differently and aim to create a relaxed, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to develop their confidence and understanding of Maths.

I am a qualified secondary Maths teacher with experience teaching students across KS3, GCSE and A-Level. My lessons are tailored to each student, focusing on building confidence, addressing gaps in knowledge and developing strong problem-solving and exam skills.
I use clear explanations, worked examples and plenty of guided and independent practice, adapting my teaching to suit each student's individual needs and learning style. For GCSE and A-Level students, I also focus heavily on exam technique and past-paper questions.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and are suitable for students of all abilities, whether they are looking to build confidence, catch up, prepare for exams or aim for the highest grades.
