About Javier

I’m a native Spanish speaker living in Kent. After finishing my studies in International Economics I acquired the Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and qualified with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). Teaching is my passion and hobby. Through a very engaging methodology I boost my students’ confidence as well as bringing them up to speed with their Spanish. My mantra is “what we learn with pleasure we never forget” Alfred Mercier.

About the lesson

My teaching style is dynamic and communicative. I believe in creating a fun and interactive learning environment where students feel comfortable practising their Spanish skills. I provide a supportive environment where you can practise speaking, improve your listening skills, enhance your reading comprehension, and polish your writing abilities. Together, we'll work on achieving your language goals effectively and with confidence. During our first lesson, we would agree your goals and areas of focus: pronunciation, writing, vocabulary and/or conversation. Book a free trial lesson with no obligation and "comencemos" :) **I offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate your busy lifestyle. Lessons can be conducted in-person or online via video conferencing.

I have been very fortunate to have found Javier. My Spanish has improved considerably since then. I have always found his classes very enjoyable because he is a very hard-working teacher but also enthusiastic about teaching. Besides that, Javier also brings a very fun, energetic, and organized lesson plan every day.

Javier was an excellent teacher. He provided me with many corrections to my Spanish essays and helped me explain clearly some complex areas of Spanish grammar.

Highly recommended if you want to learn Spanish in a very interactive way!
