About Shaniel
I am Shaniel Davis - a qualified nurse, A&E experience and and Education Nurse. I graduated with a First Class BSc Adult Nursing and a Certificate of Higher Education in Pharmacology.
I hold a senior position at one of London's largest NHS hospital trusts, where I assist in the professional development of both pre and post registration nurses. This role and my previous nursing experience gave me a deep understanding of what it takes to succeed in nursing- not just academically but clinically and professionally.
Throughout my career I have supported nurses at every stage of their journey- from aspiring applicants crafting their first personal statement to newly qualified nurses navigating the realities of clinical practice. I understand the challenges, the pressures and the moments of self-doubt that come with nursing training- because I have experienced and supported others through all of them.
I am passionate about helping students unlock their potential, build genuine confidence and develop the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in one of the most rewarding professions in the world.
My coaching style is warm, structured and deeply practical. I meet every student exactly where they are- without judgement- and work with them to get to where they need to be.

My coaching sessions are designed for three groups of nursing professionals: aspiring nurses preparing their application, pre-registration nursing students navigating their training and newly qualified nurses transitioning into their first clinical role with confidence.
Having achieved a First Class BSc Adult Nursing & an Education Nurse & Clinical Skills teacher at one of London's largest NHS hospital trusts (where I led the professional development of both pre and post registration nurses) I understand every stage of the nursing journey from application through to qualification and beyond.
My approach is warm, honest and practical. I don't give generic advice- I give targeted support based on exactly where you are in your nursing journey.
For aspiring nurses I offer:
- Personal statement coaching - draft by draft
- NHS values based interview preparation
- UCAS application strategy
- Reflective writing guidance
For pre-registration students I offer:
- Human Anatomy and Physiology (breaking down complex concepts clearly)
-Pathophysiology (understanding disease processes and their clinical relevance)
- Clinical skills coaching and preparation
- OSCE preparation; structured, practical and confidence building
- Academic essay and assignment coaching
- Reflective writing using Gibbs and other frameworks
- Clinical placement preparation and support
- Study skills and time management for nursing students
For newly qualified nurses I offer:
-Preceptorship support and guidance
- Confidence building in clinical practice
- Career development and progression planning
- Revalidation support and reflective accounts
Sessions are delivered via Zoom at a time that suits you - with flexible scheduling available.
A typical session runs 60 minutes. Most students benefit from 2 to 3 sessions depending on their needs.
