About Sophie
I’m a UK-qualified primary teacher with a passion for supporting children who need a calmer, more personalised approach to learning.
Over the past few years I’ve worked closely with children with SEND, anxiety and EBSA (emotionally based school avoidance), helping them rebuild confidence and feel more comfortable engaging with learning again. I understand that for many children, emotional wellbeing and feeling safe comes before academic progress.
I aim to build strong relationships with both children and parents, creating a positive experience that helps children feel successful and understood.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy creative activities, being outdoors and continuing to learn more about child development and supportive approaches for neurodiverse learners.

Hi, I’m Sophie, a UK-qualified primary teacher specialising in supporting children with SEND, EBSA and school-related anxiety.
I work with children who may feel overwhelmed by learning, struggle with school attendance, or need a calmer and more personalised approach than traditional tutoring.
My online sessions are designed to feel safe, structured and low-pressure, helping children rebuild confidence and gently re-engage with learning at their own pace.
I have extensive experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, anxiety and SEMH needs, and tailor sessions carefully to each child’s individual strengths and needs.
I offer online daytime sessions for UK and international families.
