About Jessie
I am a qualified teacher of post 14 education, I have taught A-level psychology, criminology and health & social care as well as GCSE psychology and health. I have almost two years experience in high school in Birmingham which was cut short due to a spinal injury. My main focus for students is to instil routines and confidence so they can revise independently and effectively, to eventually go into an exam as prepared as possible. My teaching method is varied, dependent on the topic, but each topic must be applied to exam questions and technique is improved constantly. I tend to use a lot of analogies to help students understand and make a very obvious distinction between analogies and what is to be written in the exams to gain the most marks.

In 2017 I trained to be a teacher alongside Jessie. Her depth of knowledge and professionalism was clear from the outset. She has the gift of developing positive working relationships with students and continuously strives to meet their needs. I couldn’t think of a better person suited to 1-to-1 tutoring and helping students achieve their goals.
