Marine is one of our best French tutors. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Marine

I am a qualified French teacher with over 8 years of experience teaching across different age groups. I am very patient, caring and friendly. I will always endeavour to make you feel at ease in my lessons and content with what you have learnt. Learning a language is not just about following a book, it comes with its own expressions, culture and way of life. I will be more than happy to share that with you and ensure you come out of the lesson a little more French.

About the lesson

I am an experienced teacher and a native speaker of French. I can prepare students for their exams, improve their fluency or teach French from the beginning. I always ensure my lessons have a bit of everything in them, listening, speaking, reading and writing tasks so that you develop all skills over time. I hold a master in linguistics and this passion for grammar enables me to explain grammar points in depth and to compare it with English grammar to clarify any misunderstandings, underlining the similarities or the differences between the two languages. I am able to provide a wide range of educational resources to facilitate students' learning. I pay attention to pronunciation which is key when learning French, providing my pupils with phonics table to get them familiar with pronunciation rules.

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the students of Marine.

I've known Marine for over 7 years and she has helped me improve my French a lot. She is very kind, reliable and patient; her French is very clear and easy to understand and follow. She really does take time to explain and practice until you get it! (Cause let's be honest, language can be weird) She is always my go-to person for any French questions I have and I'd highly recommend her not just for her skill, but also for her character.

Marine has been teaching me French for a while and my French knowledge has improved a lot. She can explain the grammar very well and teach me genuine expressions which are used by French people a lot. My accent is better and I have gained in confidence and fluency. I would recommend her to anyone and she always provides materials to practise as well as corrections that she does in her own time.
