About Cerys
I am a BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying graduate providing professional undergraduate dissertation support for students studying Quantity Surveying and related Built Environment degrees within the UK higher education system. I understand the academic expectations, marking criteria, and pressures that come with completing a final-year dissertation.
My approach is ethical, structured, and supportive. I help students clearly understand what is required at each stage of their dissertation, from planning and research design through to critical discussion and final review. All support is delivered on a guidance-only basis, ensuring work remains entirely the student’s own and fully aligned with UK academic integrity requirements.
Having completed my own undergraduate dissertation, I am familiar with the most common challenges students face, including refining research questions, choosing appropriate methodology, structuring chapters, and developing critical analysis rather than descriptive writing. My role is to provide clarity, confidence, and calm support throughout the process.
I work with undergraduates who want to improve their understanding, organisation, and academic confidence. Students can expect a professional, reliable, and respectful learning environment focused on producing independent, well-reasoned academic work.

I provide ethical, guidance-based undergraduate dissertation support for Quantity Surveying and Built Environment students. My approach is structured and student-focused, helping students understand what is expected at each stage of the dissertation and how to meet UK university marking criteria confidently and independently.
Rather than writing or editing work, I focus on explaining concepts, clarifying expectations, and supporting decision-making, ensuring all work remains the student’s own and academic integrity is maintained.
Support is tailored to each student and may include refining research aims and questions, explaining dissertation structure, guiding methodology choices, and developing critical thinking. I also provide constructive feedback on drafts, focusing on clarity, structure, and academic tone rather than rewriting content.
Sessions are discussion-based and interactive, designed to help students move from descriptive writing to clear, analytical academic work.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, allowing enough time to explore issues in depth without feeling overwhelming. Session length can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs and deadlines.
I hold a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying and have experience completing an undergraduate dissertation within the UK higher education system. This enables me to support students across common QS dissertation topics such as cost management, procurement, contracts, sustainability, and construction practice.
My lessons are aimed at undergraduate Quantity Surveying and Built Environment students, typically aged 18+, at any stage of their dissertation — from proposal development to final draft review. All support is provided on a guidance-only basis.
