As a Current Practice Based Educator with real-world experience I have the confidence and skills to deliver teaching in an accessible manner. I qualified in 2022, and have taken opportunities to develop quickly to a band 6 nurse. My recent experience as a student means I can empathise with the rigorous training and support required. Hello! I’m Rachel, a dedicated Paediatric Nurse and current Practice Based Educator with extensive experience in Theatre and ophthalmology. With a strong academic background and hands-on experience, I specialize in providing personalized 1:1 tutoring for nursing students at all levels. Whether you're looking to excel in paediatric care, enhance your knowledge of ophthalmology, or master literature reviews for your degree, I’m here to help you succeed.
As a student the world of nursing can seem daunting, I want to provide you the skills and confidence to go on to your dream career.
Academic writing is a refined skill; with a 1:1 in my degree I want to impart the fundamentals of writing an academic essay. These skills can betaken with you across your career, I am developing a literature review in my place of work to improve the standards of care.
Interviews may be the area you are most concerned about when qualifying. Understanding what your interviewer wants and hitting the marking criteria comes with experience and I want to provide my top tips for landing your first band 5 role and beyond.
